Reports Report 9286o (Event 9286-2022)

Observer
Name Peter B
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks fireball disappeared behind the two story motel between myself and the St. Croix river within just a second or two maximum. I have photographs of the deserted street that I took immediately prior to seeing it so I am confident of the time within a minute. There is a slight chance that my time is off by exactly one hour (early) because my phone was not automatically adjusting to the Atlantic time zone from Eastern after crossing the border on Wednesday but I'm pretty sure I had it manually adjusted to local time (New Brunswick Canada Atlantic Standard time, GMT -4) The fireball was to my southwest so it was clearly over United States, Maine, which is Eastern Standard GMT -5.
