Reports Report 9222d (Event 9222-2022)

Observer
Name Danny W
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks We were watching TV. Suddenly we saw it through our south windows. It was almost straight overhead when it caught our attention. It went down to the southwest and disappeared beyond the horizon of tall mountains. It was very bright, leaving a glowing trail or streak. It was very large, circular and bright, with a large corona around it. It seemed to move slow, compared to shooting stars we have seen, but still it was less than five seconds. It gave us enough time to say "look at that" and jump up and move for a better view. There was no sound. It looked very close but I think it was very far away.
