Reports Report 9045de (Event 9045-2022)

Observer
Name Sarah D
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks We were driving home and came to place where there are fields and an open view of the sky. 3 of my children also saw this. We discussed for a few minutes what it was we could have seen. We have watched meteor showers before, so they first thought it was that. We also suggested it could have been a firework…but the trajectory was not what you would expect in that case. It came clear across the sky, propelled in a downward motion. Only until we came home and looked online could I confirm that what we saw is consistent with the speed, bright light and movement of a fireball.

Remarks The light was bright, but then seemed to explode, giving off even more light. Then it was very bright again, as it continued to streak across the sky. It did this at least a couple of times. The sky around it lit up some too, because it was so bright.
