My nephew saw the fireball as well from a location 10 miles north of me. By using his location and mine we estimated through triangulation that the meteor was somewhere from south east of John Day Oregon, North of Seneca Oregon. Possibly the Malheur National Forest. I’d be interested to find out if our seat of the pants triangulation was anywhere close to accurate.
