Remarks It only appeared for maybe a second and a half and was behind clouds, but it was bright enough to be distinctly visible through them. About a second after it appeared, it broke up into at least three distinct streaks of light; at that point, the brightness increased dramatically for maybe half a second before disappearing as suddenly as it came. I couldn't tell if there was a smoke trail because of the screen of clouds in the foreground.
