Reports Report 1902o (Event 1902-2013)

Observer

Experience Level 2/5
Remarks We were sitting by the lake at night when my husband saw the entire sky light up. Since I was facing eastward, I saw a bright glowing ball with a blue-green hue streak down the horizon. I thought it was a firework at first since it made a sizzling sound, but the angle at which it fell (from top right to bottom left) was not the way a firework would appear since the ball of light seemed to originate in the upper right of the lower part of the sky. Brightest and closest meteor that I have ever seen.
