Remarks | I was at the East side of Tumpington street, in front of the Corpus Christi College bus stop. There are two lamposts on either side of Trumpington street, not too far to the south from said bus stop. The meteor started immediately above the Eastern lamppost and ended immediately above the Western lamppost from my pov, glowing considerably brighter than Jupiter, which was ~5-10 degrees directly above the meteor trail. I have years of stargazing experience and this is the 2nd brightest meteor I've ever seen (after a fireball I've seen in Gangwon-do, South Korea), easily visible even from Cambridge city center. |
