| Remarks | Trail was more like a plume than a streak. First ten degrees or so were very intense, then faded for about five to eight degrees before re-intensifying until it either burned out or went over the horizon. Path was pretty much vertical in appearance, on a line from zenith to horizon. Was thirty to forty degrees above horizon when first seen, at or close to horizon when I lost sight of it.
