Remarks | Absolutely incredible! Was out on the boat in the dark, thus had full view of night sky with many stars. Saw several shooting stars before this brilliant one started across the sky, moved across full sky, almost horizontally, until it started heading down, then just went out. All 4 people on the boat saw it-very brilliant, lasted long enough that we discussed it's brilliance, figuring it must be a plane, but with a brilliant tail most of the way across the sky, until just before it went dark. We all concluded that it lasted about 8 seconds. It was moving way too fast though, for a plane. |
