| Remarks | Yes. This thing was so bright, it lit up the landscape like lighting. That is not an exaggeration. The moon is about 3/4, and I had my hoodie over my head. I had just turned to go inside when I saw two quick bright flashes on the lawn, trees, and house. I had time to whip my head around and look up to see what I first thought was a bolt of lightning just overhead! But the sky was clear and suddenly I realized it was a meteor. The trail persisted for about a second more, and consisted of two distinct bright zones. |
