Remarks | I work at the park (it’s closed at that hour, I would be trespassing otherwise) and after returning from a nighttime survey and parking the vehicle I used in the field I was walking back to the office and I glanced toward a flash of light that appeared in the sky, I saw it through an opening in the tree canopy of the white pines that line the driveway seen on the map. In almost an instant it looked like a fuse quickly burned at a lightning speed, white light leaving a trail of reddish orange behind and a purplish dust that quickly faded to gray and blew away like smoke in the wind. I wasn’t out looking, I just happened to see it. This report is to the best of my memory and is my best approximation, I saw no one posted anything about it yet, I hope it wasn’t unnoticed. Very cool sight. |
