| Remarks | I am certain this was some type of astronomical event. I found a picture on the internet that is similar to what I saw that I’d be happy to show to someone from this group. What I saw was greenish with a sparkly tail (fragmentation, I assume) & then the leading part “exploded” & that was it. Sadly, it only lasted about 2-3 seconds max. It was EXTREMELY (low lying) foggy with fog warnings in the area I saw it which fortunately for me, had it not been foggy, I’m not sure I would have seen it. It was the coolest astronomical event I’ve ever seen. Do eclipses count as astronomical? It was way cooler than an eclipse! |
