Experience Level | 2/5 |
Remarks | It was cool. Like a shooting star but much bigger and more intense. I googled it and there do not seem to be other sightings, which I find odd, because it was so bright it made me look up quickly. |

Terminal flash | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | My head was down and I was walking my dog and saw a bright light in the sky that made me look straight up and the flash was still there, and from that flash what I think was a meteor, that shot out of the flash with a tail. Lasted about 1 to 1.5 seconds. Travelled east to west and was directly above or just in front of me. Very impressive . |
Fragmentation | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | The tail had traces of arcing that looked like they were sputtering and burning up away from the tail. |
