Remarks I was driving car in Clear Lake City at the time. So no weak sounds would have been possible to hear. The immediate surrounding were dark, but sky was somewhat lite from city lights. Object was bright enough to catch my attention 10 to 20 degrees left of my direction of travel. Dawn was still an hour away.
