Remarks | my son and I were lying on the hammock in our backyard on Friday night, shortly before 9:30pm and we both saw something amazing: it was like a shooting star but much bigger, much closer - a bright, fast-moving ball of fiery light, with an orangish-pink tail. It was low in the sky, appearing to be maybe 50 feet away and seemed to land in our neighbor's yard. It came from the east, flying west. I've looked for rocks in my neighbor's yard but didn't find anything. My son thinks it seemed to land further away - perhaps a few houses down the street. |
