I've seen many so called "shooting stars" but this was 10 times brighter and longer in duration than anything I've ever seen and they have all been high in the sky......this was much much closer to the horizon!

It left an even, steady sparkling train as it went from my left to right. As the trajectory dropped towards the horizon, the ball gave off a puff of sparks for a split second and then it was gone.
