Reports Report 7295i (Event 7295-2022)

Observer
Name Mike S
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks The meteor was an intense green and was followed by a bright orange train. The green "head" appeared to have an elliptical shape and was some 15 arc-minutes long (although that may have been glare). The train appeared to have some turbulence, so I don't think it was an after-image despite it's orange color. It ended very suddenly without any explosion or fade-out. I had just come out of the house and my eyes were not dark adapted but it still appeared very bright. I have spent a lot of time looking at the night sky and I have seen many meteors, but I have never seen anything like this.
