Remarks Where I work has almost zero atmospheric lighting from surrounding light sources and can see the milkyway galaxy with my naked eye on a clear night (i also have photos from this location from a phone camera) and I see meteors "shooting stars" every night from the North of me primarily and South secondly. Due to no visual obstruction. Clear line of sight for many miles southbound.

Remarks Imagine lighting a sparkler and moving it fast. The smoke that is left behind is thin and dense but dissipated quickly. Or like a firework exhaust trail.
