| Remarks | I was driving northbound on hwy 20 outside of Sisters when I saw a very straight faint line appear in the sky to my left. First I thought it was a plane, then a regular shooting star, but then it grew bigger and brighter and continued to do so until it was much bigger and brighter than any shooting star I’ve seen before. I’m not experienced in astronomy but I have seen a fair amount of meteor showers and this was much more impressive. It was amazing. My time is approximate but it was between 7:50 and 8:00 pm and lasted 2 seconds, maybe 3. |
