Persistent train
Observation Yes
Duration 3s
Length
Remarks I didn’t see a train at first. It burst out when it was almost directly above me. Then the object fragmented and multiple smaller pieces each had trains.
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks When I first saw the object to the east, I thought it was the moon shining through the clouds. Then I saw that it was headed east. Then there was a burst and the tail appeared when it was almost right above me.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks As mentioned before, it fragmented when almost directly above and each of the pieces had their own train as they spread apart and eventually fizzled out. It looked like it was at standard airplane altitude; but it must have been higher.
