Remarks | I was on my back deck which is on a hill about 200 feet above my neighbors, looking north as I had a cigarette. I was looking down when suddenly I thought someone hit me with a spotlight, it was so bright I flinched. I looked up to see a thick greenish-white streak just above the treeline, traveling from west to east at a slight decline. It had a strange green glow at the front. It was still so bright that, after it disappeared, it burned a streak into my eyes like a flash bulb does. I’m getting old and have watched the skies all my life but have never seen anything so bright. It started as a brilliant flash. This just happened a few minutes ago. |
