Reports Report 5388l (Event 5388-2022)

Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I have seen several fireballs on Block Island and have submitted a couple of observations here before. I didn’t report this one at the time partly because I was standing in the ocean when it happened and didn’t have my phone on hand to note the exact time. My memory of it is hazy by now, but I definitely remember the meteor being impressive relative to others I have seen and fairly high in the sky (30° or somewhat more) with a track across the sky centered on about due east. (I have high confidence about direction relative to me since the shoreline makes orientation easy.) I also remember a distinct greenish color. I no longer remember whether it fragmented.
