Remarks I was on US 550 near the top of the mountain driving north between Durango and Silverton. The meteor came into my view for 2-3 seconds angling from right to left and disappearing behind the mountain in front of me. It might have been visible to some for a longer period of time for some people, but I don’t know as the mountain obstructed my view after it fell behind it.
