It was through the trees while I was walking my dogs before bed. It was bright green and saw it intermittently through the leaves of mature trees overhead. It looked relatively close. I chalked it up to a drone or plane but then I searched twitter and several people in IL saw the same thing at the same time. The light was north of me and traveling NW.
