Reports Report 6119r (Event 6119-2022)

Observer
Name Brad B
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks 99% sure it wasn't a firework, direction of travel was across the sky not upwards and it was very brief but didn't cover much distance before goin dim. Almost like burning up as it hit the atmosphere, a quick glow, a flash, then the debris pieces glowed for a second then disappeared all over a short distance. I checked the time when I got in my car and it occurred approximately 10:40 pm

Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks It was a bright greenish flash that broke into many small bright greenish lights before disappearing. The whole thing happened in a second or 2 at most. I'm about 25 miles due west from downtown Chicago and it was almost directly north of my location but hard to tell how far north it was.
