| Remarks | I went outside to walk my dog & there was literally a relatively bright shooting ball of fire for lack of a better description that went by overhead very fast with a small trail behind it. It wasn't an even rounded ball it round but not evenly round. I saw the news about the fireball over the UK & it's literally exactly what I saw except I live on Long Island, New York It was heading in a somewhat Westerly direction based on where I was standing, as I was standing on Mount Sinai Coram Road just south of County Road 83 (Patchogue Mount Sinai Road), near Island Trail. I thought it was actually very cool. I stayed to look if there was any others but I didn't see any others. |
