Reports Report 6109zz (Event 6109-2022)

Observer
Name Eilidh W
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks It was spectacular, and the most colourful meteor I've seen. It's the third I've seen from inside my house in the 7 years I've lived here. The previous two were also bright, but short-lived, with fizzly short tails, pale and lacking in 'substance' in comparison to this one - reminiscent of a firework. 🎆

Remarks It flickered a lot, with sparkles coming off the tail intermittently. It went through cloud as it went out of sight, where it appeared to flash brighter/some green. As it went into cloud, it became less visible then more but never again fully visible - it didn't disappear. It just kept going. The tail was relatively long and ever so slightly shortened at times. The edges of the tail burned from white hot to orange with a light yellow appearance as well. The leading ball was bright, and the end of the tail sulphur blue. It moved at some pace on a fairly horizontal trajectory to the naked eye.
