Reports Report 5990g (Event 5990-2022)

Observer
Name April R
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks It was so swift and so large. It took up far more space in the sky than any airplane has. Especially when it became a giant fire hall. I wish I had a better mental picture to share.

Duration 1s
Length
Remarks Very slight train that disappeared almost as quickly as the flash. Somewhere between misty and smoky.
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks It entered my field of view and I realized immediately it was too fast to be manmade and before I could even tell my partner to look it became a large bright ball and then I saw a small trail and it was gone. Earlier I heard a large boom and thought it was a firework. I listened for the same sound, but I was in a hot tub with jets going so I didn’t hear anything.
