There was a building blocking it but it started 3/4 of the way up and came straight down to the earth. It looked like a single firework trail that was as wider than the moon in the sky (about 1/3 - 1/4 of my total field of vision of the sky). The colors were vibrant and rainbow but mostly green > blue > red and was white in the center of the trail.
