Reports Report 4290xb (Event 4290-2022)

Observer
Name Randolph H
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was indoors sleeping early, I missed it, but I have been collecting meteorites for over a year so I was sad that I missed it. I saw videos of it, and I picked up several small pebbles on my walk to 7eleven in the dark, only when I got home did I notice something new, I have never seen a rock like it. I'm trying to not even touch it, afraid it will get damaged.. It's not a dirt clod, but more fragile than the impact glass I'm used to. I have several pics but only had this tablet camera as my phone broke, I will take more pics in pro mode, the ones I have don't justify this rock, I can do better. I apologize about the fireball itself, I couldn't find a place to report finding a suspected fragment. Lots of folk saw it, I actually saw a shooting star earlier tonight, I think it was close by also. This was a couple hours ago, it was orange, unrelated to the July 24 fireball. It was not explosive. But the blue meteorite is my first find from an observed fall, that I know of. I haven't been working, no money to get any lab work. I am going to have the Meteorite Market help me, but their fee is 20 grams of the rock being tested. My fragment is only 10.97 grams. I'll wait, it's not for sale anyway. But in case I am first finder, I need a witness that I reported it. Its only fair, first finder is still first finder, money for lab testing or not. I'll get it tested, my sister Rhonda can loan me if need be, Is there somewhere to send the photos of my specimen? Thank you for your time.
