Observer
Name Mike L
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks It was large, largest meteor I ever saw. It first appeared as a comet tail that seemed to streak from high left to lower right - then explode into a bright white fire ball. It was over in 3-5 seconds. My wife saw it too. We were driving in car in glen ridge heading west towards Montclair on bay avenue when it appeared.
