Remarks | I've seen meteors / deorbits before, but this was a truly stunning event. The brightness is hard to describe. Venus was there for comparison, but this fireball was much, much brighter, captivating. My wife and I were driving at the time and watched it unfold directly ahead of us. The semi in front of us threw on his brakes when it appeared. |
