Remarks I was driving when it happened but saw everything very clearly because it was so dark out. The drive between bastrop and San marcos is very dark and there is very low light pollution so I had the absolute pleasure of seeing this in a clear dark sky.

Remarks The sky lit up a bright blue like there was lightning and then I saw the ball of blue and orange fire break apart in the atmosphere.

Remarks After the flash of blue light, the ball turned orange/white/yellow and broke apart very visibly. Like I could see the dark shadows of rock within the orange/yellow/white flames.
