I was writing the bicycle and I saw the green fireball streak on my left as I was heading westbound on the George Bush Park trail that is just south of the I-10 interstate. The fireball was at a pretty low angle to the ground traveling almost parallel to the ground with a very small deflection downwards. Maybe one or two degrees at most.
The Corona was a beautiful green color and I thought it might be related to the way that copper looks green when it is tarnished. It had a golden yellow trail behind it. Deciding only lasted. I would say a few seconds and the fireball just disappeared and there was just a slight site of a few golden burning particles behind it that faded away in about a second.
It was right around 10:00 p.m. on Sunday July 24th 2022. I was writing on my bicycle and the sky was clear with no clouds so it was a great sighting. Everything around me was completely dark because that part of the trail has no lights except for the lights from the businesses and the car dealerships that were on my right side that are just south of I-10 interstate.
And the fireball was on my left as I was traveling westbound and the fireball was over the George Bush reservoir. So it was a pretty clear view with no stray lights. I wish I had a camera on my bicycle helmet but unfortunately I didn't. Then the event only lasted a few seconds.
I hope this helps you guys. I'm pretty sure a lot of people have seen it here in Houston cuz it was a beautiful sight so I'm sure somebody's got a video or a few pictures.
