Reports Report 3890g (Event 3890-2022)

Observer
Name Keri R
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks It only lasted a few seconds. It was orange or red at the front and larger at the front with a white or light yellow streaming tail. Then it just disappeared after a few seconds. And a little while after I saw it I did hear a thunderous sound but no thunder in the forecast and it did not sound like any Fourth of July related fireworks. I know it happened around 10 PM because about a minute after I saw it I called my son to tell him what I saw and the timestamp on the call was 10:01 PM.

Remarks Sounded like thunder a few mins after I saw it go by, I even looked at the weather forecast on my phone to see if rain or thunder and lightning were in the forecast but they weren’t. Even though it’s near the Fourth of July holiday this didn’t sound like a fire cracker and sounded more like thunder.
