Reports Report 3821a (Event 3821-2022)

Observer
Name Duncan C
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I feel that I would say the observation first appeared slow slightly west and below Arcturus but north of Muphris and travelling in a trajectory with slightly climbing trajectory and ending on a line somewhere between 109VR and Gemma(?) It caught my eye as it seemed to be travelling in a different direction to the shooting stars I have seen to night that seem to be travelling in a westerly direction from directly overhead and appear to be a crisp white colour. The object I saw was travelling in a mostly easterly direction and was Orange with no real streak and it just petered out. I followed the direction to see if there was any type of remnant(?) but observed nothing. I had been sat in my dark garden for about 20 minutes and my eyes were accustomed to the darkness and I had already seen 4 shooting stars, several aircraft, and a surprising number of satellites.(also a hedgehog and quite a few bats) I quite often sit in the garden looking at the sky and this seemed different because of the volor( I did observe a meteor in South Swales a few years ago and that was green and breaking up. I have also witnessed 2 of those flares that a satellite (can’t remember the name) constellation gives off from my current location in the last week( just added that to rule out stuff)
