I was not sure if this was fireworks, but it was so high in the sky and fell so slowly it could not be. My friend witnessed it also. We were in the car driving down the road when we witnessed the light.

The fireball was falling slowly. it split into three equal size fireballs which fell in similar fashion for 5-6 seconds.
