Reports Report 1286d (Event 1286-2013)

Observer
Name Janet G
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks A friend and I were standing in my parking lot at Cherry Hill Gardens Apts., between a one-story maintenance building on my west side and the two-story apartment on my east side, as I faced South. I saw it directly overhead as it went East. It was so close that I first thought it was local fireworks because I could see a distinct ball of light at the head with a long tail of gold sparks trailing behind. There were no fireworks around, and no noise. It burned out in the sky just barely past the two-story building to my left (east). Wish I'd seen it sooner, but the building on the west side of me blocked my view until it was almost directly overhead.
