Remarks I knew the approximate time because I texted my friends that I just saw the biggest shooting star of my life. After awhile I checked online to see if anyone else saw it. That is how I stumbled upon this web page.

Remarks It split into two at the very end and ended in separate dots that seemed to have color.

Remarks It split into two the last 15% or so. One stayed on the same trajectory the other went slightly lower. It ended with dots of light making me question if it was a dud firework. I've never seen anything like that before. I had no doubt it was a shooting star till the end only it was bigger and seemed closer than any shooting star I've ever seen. Never seen one split into two either.
