| Remarks | The fireball emitted a bright green light, bright enough for me to notice whilst sat on the far side of a lit room. It was of an entirely different magnitude to 'shooting stars'. The tail was red, quite long and much duller. The object was quite low in the sky...I did not have to look up much. It passed from east to west and appeared to have a steady downward trajectory. It extinguished before I lost sight of it, the trajectory steepening just before this point. The trail of fire remained for between 1 and 2 seconds after the fire ball extinguished. It was unlike anything I have ever seen and exactly like some of the videos you can see on You Tube. |
