We were just driving home after picking up my husband and it was straight in the middle of our line of site. Now I had glasses on but need a new prescription. My husband said she actually saw 3 lights in the shape of a triangle and then it dropped. The drop trail was no long before it disappeared midair. It did not trail to the ground.
