Reports Report 2916d (Event 2916-2022)

Observer
Name Matthew F
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I have watched the Persids and Leonids from the Seattle area before, and have never seen anything like this. The closest comparison I can make is how the Shoemaker Levy meteors appeared as a series when they approached jupiter, and to some extent the dashcam footage of the Russian asterioids (they looked more like the former, and while they were much smaller than the Russian meteor they passed all the way across the width of the sky from horizon to horizon in the same sort of way, This series of objects did appear to be much higher than the Russian meteor event, though, and took nearly a minute to go from west to east)
