Remarks I am an astrophotographer and was packing up my gear that night. I only saw the fireball mid flight while turning around, when it was already very low on the horizon. It was extremely bright, travelling very fast and didn't seem to drop in luminosity as it disappeared behind a house at about 10-15 degree altitude. Because it seemed like it was fairly close and I wasn't tired yet, I tried going out to search for remains in the direction it landed in for about two hours but expectedly didn't find anything. This was still an awesome experience :)
