Reports Report 2346cv (Event 2346-2022)

Observer
Name Gail B
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks It was a big enough fireball to make me question whether a plane or the ISS had blown up. It happened in the part of sky where the ISS usually appears, but was travelling on a different trajectory, from south to north, or left to right as I was looking at it.

Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks I saw a bright flash like an explosion, it literally looked like the fireball explosion emoji, and a tail or streak across the sky as it faded. It only crossed a small section of the sky maybe around 5-10°. It was the biggest, brightest 'shooting star' type object I've seen in my 55 years!
