Remarks I'm 35 and I've witnessed approximately 4 fireballs in my life. This particular experience had me very concerned due to the intensity of the fireball and being able to see detail of the meteor.

Remarks I heard 2 or 3 distinctive but muffled booms as the fireball was burning up. The sound reminded me of an aircraft sonic boom, but muffled I believe due to the distance of the fireball relative to my position.
