| Remarks | Please consider this information as approximate. I was driving at the time and therefore could not comply with my normal scientific rigor. I caught what I thought was a plane out of the corner of my eye, but when I focused on it, it was too bright, and too fast for a plane. However, it was also much slower than other shooting stars I have observed. I had 1-2 seconds after I first saw it to try to get my passengers to see it too, but they did not witness it. Since I was driving, I don't know how many seconds it lasted before I saw it. Time is accurate within ±10 minutes. Did not know at the time that reporting existed or I would have noted more precisely. |
