I was driving. It entered field of view from top of windsheild so not confident on starting angle. It was directly north of my position and travelling in same line as it aligned with the mile road i was driving on.

near the end of the event it progressively became very bright then burnt out. I was confused as the open landscape was brighter than a night with a full moon on winter snow.
