Reports Report 1144y (Event 1144-2013)

Observer
Name Jennifer W
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks This was a very large, very bright, glowing, very fast-moving fireball with a distinctive cone-shaped pointy tail; three of us saw it and were astounded. It looked like something out of a comic book! - if my two friends had not seen it, I would have thought I were hallucinating! I have never seen anything quite like this - a far cry from what I've observed during meteor showers. The moon was very bright last night, and even so, the fireball appeared brighter than the moon. I was not able to observe if it fragmented or anything like that because it became obscured by buildings.
