Remarks I feel this was a fireball as described on this website but would love to know if others saw it too so I know I am not crazy. I regularly observe shooting stars but this was so much brighter but lasted only a very short while as well (or possibly longer because it did go behind a house). It was unlike anything I've seen before. I know it wasn't a plane, it didn't make noise and was way too fast. I live relatively close to an airport so I know the distinction.
