Reports Report 1616w (Event 1616-2022)

Observer
Name Carissa S
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks At first I thought a plane was crashing. Then I thought it was a shooting star. Then I realized it had to either be space trash or a tiny meteor entering the atmosphere, based on how large, bright, and yellow it became and how it broke up upon entry into the atmosphere. Not like a tiny streaking shooting star that’s very far away. I was raised on a remote farm in Kansas and often watched the night sky.
